Builds are not Apple- or Microsoft-signed. OS warnings are expected and do not mean the file is corrupt.

macOS — authorize unrecognized app

Download PopcornTimeX-mac.dmg or the optional .zip.
Open the disk image (or unzip), then drag PopcornTimeX into Applications.
If you see “PopcornTimeX.app is damaged and can’t be opened”, that is Gatekeeper quarantine. In Terminal run:
```
xattr -cr /Applications/PopcornTimeX.app
```
Open the app from Applications. If macOS still warns, right‑click the app → Open → confirm.

Zipping does not replace the xattr step. Only code signing/notarization removes this permanently.

SmartScreen may appear: More info → Run anyway.

chmod +x PopcornTimeX-linux.AppImage then run it.
